This is a film I shot and cut for the super-talented Brighton digital artist Joe Plant for his show at East Gallery, Brick Lane, London in June 2011. The artwork and animation is Joe’s the live action footage and the edit is mine, the light writing we did together and was a mixture of camera tricks and after effects and general trial and error. The film was displayed on a loop projected onto a wall and kept ’em mesmerised for hours – the tunes and audio samples don’t belong to me and no audio was used in the gallery anyway – but there’s a prize if you can spot Omar in there.
